Bio

Bethany Gordon is a PhD student in the University of Virginia's Convergent Behavioral Science Institute (CBSI). She is a UVA SEAS Dean's Scholar and a GAANN teaching fellow. Her research focuses on the gap between risk perceptions and calcluated risk of green infrastructure. She received her BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2017. In addition to her research, she is passionate about local food justice and serves of the board of Bread & Roses, a ministry of Trinity Episcopal Church.
